Therapists will primarily operate in an outpatient setting, utilizing teletherapy capabilities to connect with clients effectively, while also anticipating periodic in-office meetings in our newly designed and modern facilities which prioritize staff comfort and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Pro Health Psychotherapy, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Conducting couple therapy sessions to improve relationship dynamics.
  • Facilitating family therapy discussions that focus on issues such as communication difficulties, conflict resolution, and adjustments following divorce or separation.
  • Administering assessments to identify mental health issues affecting clients, creating treatment plans, and setting measurable goals.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and collaboration with the clinical team to enhance therapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Participating in team meetings and case consultations to discuss client care and strategies for ongoing support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will address a wide range of challenges faced by clients, including but not limited to:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
  • Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
  • Grief and loss counseling.
  • Conflict resolution among family members or siblings.
  • Challenges posed by blended families and remarriage.
  • Adjustment issues tied to separation and divorce.
  • Job stress and its impact on mental well-being.
  • Facilitating better communication strategies within families.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
  • Strong dedication to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive therapeutic outcomes.
Preferred Experience
