Empower Well Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs and create tailored intervention plans.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that objectives meet both child and family needs.
• Monitor and document outcomes as part of a collaborative team focused on continual improvement and effectiveness.
• Provide education, support, and skill-building resources to families to enhance their child’s development in a natural learning environment.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, ensuring adherence to ethical standards in practice.
• Develop rapport with children, families, and educational stakeholders to foster a supportive and nurturing educational environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the coaching model to empower families in understanding and supporting their child's developmental journey.
• Adjust service frequencies and recommendations based on ongoing evaluations and family priorities.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to protect both staff and the families we serve.

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers who may have developmental delays or disabilities. The LCSW will play a crucial role in guiding families through early intervention services, supporting children as they develop essential physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills crucial for their age group.

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas, per the Department of Public Health regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel to local schools and family homes.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is essential.
• Proficiency in adapting interventions to suit various learning styles and developmental needs.
• Strong organization, time management, and communication skills are essential to navigate complex family dynamics and intervention strategies.
• A commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices to optimize client outcomes.
• Bilingual capabilities are encouraged to better serve our diverse community.

• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support child development.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and federal/state guidelines related to early intervention services.
