Position Overview

Intimate Bridge Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote role focused on providing essential support and services within school environments. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while primarily serving school-aged children through our early intervention programs across Hialeah, Florida. As an LCSW with Intimate Bridge Counseling, you will engage with a team of professionals committed to bringing the best practices to children needing support with developmental delays and disabilities. Your continuous interactions with families, educators, and fellow clinicians will facilitate a collaborative atmosphere designed for impactful intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs and areas for intervention.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that align with the unique needs of each child.
• Monitor and track outcomes related to child development, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure effective support and progress.
• Build rapport with children and families to foster a trusting relationship that encourages open communication and active participation in their child's development.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and a coaching model to provide families with the necessary tools and strategies to support their child's growth.
• Administer and interpret assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with team members, educators, and specialists to share insights and strategies while promoting a healthy and safe learning environment.
• Provide continuing education to families regarding child development, addressing concerns and disseminating important resources.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures that prioritize the health and safety of the children and families we support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused on supporting young children, particularly babies and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays, as well as their families. Our services are tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community, with an emphasis on helping children develop critical skills in areas including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate of Social Work is required.
• Active LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health of Florida.
• A valid driver's license mandated for program-related travel.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple cases.
• Strong communication abilities to engage with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members effectively.
• Respectful collaborative spirit with an openness to support team dynamics.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances our service delivery.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of direct experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to employing Natural Learning Environment Practices is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
