Work Environment

This position is uniquely set in a remote work environment while still offering access to our state-of-the-art outpatient office when needed. Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT with our organization, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of couples and individual clients.
  • Formulating evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of families.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, as well as individual sessions for each partner to ensure holistic care.
  • Addressing a range of issues including substance abuse, family conflicts, grief and loss, blended family challenges, separation and divorce adjustment, communication difficulties, and medical issues.
  • Providing counseling in both teletherapy and in-person formats to accommodate patient preferences and needs.
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records per organizational and regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve assisting couples, individuals, children, and adolescents. You will engage with a diverse population facing various challenges, from job stress to psychological trauma, fostering an environment where clients can experience healing and growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
Preferred Experience

We appreciate candidates with experience in systemic therapy practices, but newly licensed professionals are also encouraged to apply. Flexibility in scheduling is highly favored, with a commitment to working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
