Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to identify their mental health concerns, strengths, capabilities, and resources.

  • Facilitate the development of individualized treatment plans that clearly outline treatment goals and interventions, ensuring they are aligned with the specific needs of the client.

  • Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans tailored to students experiencing acute emotional distress or trauma.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and school-specific standards.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes within school settings, addressing topics such as anxiety management, conflict resolution, and social skills development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse client base, primarily comprising students from various backgrounds, including those coping with depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role as a clinical social worker will be crucial in facilitating emotional resilience and personal growth through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
