Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving growth and winning new business? We are seeking an experienced Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead our growth strategy and help expand our presence in federal and international markets.
In this executive leadership role, you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth, increasing profitability, strengthening backlog, and identifying new market opportunities worldwide. You will lead and integrate business development, capture management, proposal operations, cost and pricing strategy, marketing, customer engagement, contract vehicle planning, and strategic partnerships.

This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual and multi-year growth strategies aligned with Planate's Strategic Plan
  • Lead federal business development, including Brooks Act A/E procurements, SF330 submissions, IDIQs, MATOCs, and task order competitions
  • Build a balanced worldwide contract portfolio across federal, international, and selected commercial markets
  • Lead key account development, customer engagement, industry positioning, conferences, and strategic partnerships
  • Direct the full capture lifecycle, including opportunity qualification, capture strategy, teaming, competitor analysis, and price-to-win
  • Provide executive oversight of proposals, cost and pricing, compliance, bid/no-bid decisions, and proposal quality
  • Lead marketing, branding, capability statements, thought leadership, and customer-facing growth campaigns
  • Develop and maintain strategic contract vehicle and acquisition strategies
  • Establish pipeline reviews, capture gates, dashboards, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multicultural growth organization across BD, capture, proposals, pricing, and marketing
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, HR, contracts, and executive leadership to ensure growth is profitable, achievable, and sustainable
  • Advise the President and Executive Leadership Team on market trends, competitive threats, customer priorities, and growth opportunities
  • Perform other related executive duties as assigned by the President.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, marketing, or related field required, MBA preferred.
  • Strong history of winning federal contracts, developing client relationships, and successfully expanding market presence.
  • Over 15 years of progressive growth leadership experience, including 10+ years in federal engineering, A/E, infrastructure, or professional services pursuits
  • Proven leadership of business development, capture, proposal, cost and pricing, and marketing teams
  • Experience with GSA schedules, large IDIQ/GWAC vehicles, OTAs, SBIR/STTR pathways, Brooks Act QBS procurements, and SF330 submissions required or strongly preferred.
  • Professional registration, DAWIA/FAC-C familiarity, PMP, Shipley, APMP, or similar capture/proposal credentials preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customers, partners, conferences, and global team execution
