What is a Remote Chemical Engineer Co Op?

A Remote Chemical Engineer Co Op is a student or recent graduate who works with a chemical engineering team while completing their studies, performing their duties virtually instead of on-site. In this role, co-op students assist with research, process development, data analysis, and technical reporting, often using online collaboration tools. This position provides practical experience in chemical engineering while allowing flexibility to work from home or another remote location. Remote co-ops gain valuable industry insights, network with professionals, and can apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world projects.

How does a Remote Chemical Engineer Co-Op typically collaborate with on-site teams and supervisors?
