Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, demonstrating ethical and compassionate care.
• Implementing solution-focused treatment modalities to address clients’ unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Developing customized treatment plans that reflect the specific circumstances and mental health challenges of each client.
• Providing insightful guidance to help clients explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors and their impact on their daily lives.
• Continuously monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal mental health outcomes.
• Supporting clients in developing effective coping mechanisms and life skills that foster resilience and enhance their quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will primarily support stable, low-acuity adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your therapeutic interventions are aimed at empowering clients to enhance their understanding of themselves, manage their emotional landscapes, and navigate life's complexities with greater confidence and resilience.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license enabling independent practice. Candidates must specify their credentials and the state of licensure in their application:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses, with no disciplinary actions on their professional record.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a sympathetic approach to client care.
• Proficient computer literacy, with access to a computer capable of video conferencing.
• A reliable internet connection that ensures seamless communication with clients.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Experience using telehealth platforms or related technology in delivering mental health services.
• Additional certifications in specific therapeutic modalities.
