Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's needs.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing their trauma experiences while developing healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring holistic support for each client.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, advocating for clients' immediate needs.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, helping them understand coping strategies and available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
