Job description

Are you a legal docketing professional who enjoys the precision and responsibility that comes with managing deadlines?

Join a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm with more than 1,000 attorneys and offices across North America and Europe. This is an opportunity to become part of a growing, centralized docketing team supporting a sophisticated litigation practice in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate is a career docketing professional with strong knowledge of court rules, deadline management, and legal docketing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review court filings, notices, and orders to identify and calculate critical deadlines.
  • Apply court rules and procedural requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain accurate docket calendars and case deadlines.
  • Monitor case activity and communicate deadlines to legal teams.
  • Utilize docketing and case management systems to support litigation matters.
  • Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure compliance with filing and scheduling requirements.

Requirements

  • Expertise in legal docketing, with a heavy emphasis calendaring and deadline management.
  • Strong understanding of court rules and deadline calculation.
  • Experience with docketing software and legal case management systems.
  • Ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented work with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Stable career history within docketing, litigation support, or related legal operations functions preferred.
