• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions focused on achieving clear and measurable therapeutic goals.
• Perform comprehensive intakes and assessments to understand clients’ emotional and relational dynamics.
• Maintain honest, timely, and accurate clinical documentation in alignment with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions to foster high-quality practice standards and receive ongoing clinical support.
• Participate in community outreach programs, aiming to increase awareness of mental health resources and combat stigma associated with seeking help.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, employing evidence-based strategies to effectively manage urgent client needs.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will primarily serve a diverse client population that includes individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of challenges, such as relational conflicts, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Our community health clinic emphasizes a holistic approach, allowing you to address complex issues that impact emotional and relational health across different demographics.

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Vermont.
• A minimum of two years of therapeutic experience in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Previous experience working in a community health setting or providing remote therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy.
• Experience with crisis intervention and management techniques.

InStride Health Associates offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
