Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality counseling through virtual therapies, ensuring accessibility to those in recovery.
• Create tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on measurable outcomes for their mental health journey.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, guiding them to essential resources such as financial assistance programs, housing services, and additional social services as needed.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing significant mental health crises, including suicidal ideation or severe trauma responses.
• Engage in community-based educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health and reducing stigma, enhancing community support systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of treatment and progress in alignment with HIPAA regulations and best practices in documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and mentorship programs that support your clinical and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients navigating the often complex realities of addiction and mental health issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an appropriate Vermont license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), granting the ability to practice independently.
• Strong advocacy skills and a culturally competent approach, demonstrating empathy and understanding of diverse client backgrounds.
• Proven experience in therapeutic settings, working with individuals, couples, and families for at least two years.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in remote counseling or telehealth services, particularly for addiction recovery.
• Familiarity with case management software and electronic health records used in the behavioral health field.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and continuing education support to foster your professional development.
