Job description

Position Overview

Rocky Meadow Counseling is seeking dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to provide holistic mental health support to our clients in a flexible, remote environment. As a member of our team, you will leverage your clinical expertise to facilitate psycho-social assessments, create customized treatment plans, and offer both individual and family therapy. This full-time role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients while enjoying the freedom of a remote work setting.

About the Organization

Rocky Meadow Counseling is a community health clinic located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for diverse populations. We believe in providing comprehensive, tailored support that meets the unique needs of each client. Our multidisciplinary team works cohesively to ensure high-quality care, integrating a wide range of community resources to facilitate each client's journey toward mental wellness.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes or preferred workspaces. Our online platform supports seamless case management, enabling you to efficiently document client interactions and treatment notes within a single application. This setup eliminates many of the common administrative burdens faced in traditional office environments, freeing you to focus on providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnoses and treatment of various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, adapting care plans to reflect ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective discharge plans, ensuring a continuum of care for clients transitioning out of intensive services.
  • Utilize community resources effectively, facilitating appropriate referrals to enhance client well-being, which may include connecting clients to support groups, psychiatrists, or specialized treatment programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local mental health regulations and standards, acting in accordance with the Mental Health Practice Act.
  • Engage in targeted social work consultations, performing psychosocial assessments and offering crisis intervention or bereavement support as required.
  • Advocate for clients and their families, ensuring efficient communication among healthcare teams and services for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prioritize daily tasks by assessing current patient needs and well-being, focusing on timely responses to discharges, newly admitted clients, or ongoing case management.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new staff members and provide peer support following challenging case management experiences.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus at Rocky Meadow Counseling is to serve a broad range of clients from varying backgrounds, addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will work closely with individuals, couples, and families to promote healing and resilience, ensuring culturally competent care tailored to each client's specific circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution; educational credentials will be verified.
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC. Psychologists are also encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with local community mental health resources and programs to effectively support client needs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential for client interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • A proven ability to establish rapport with clients, creating a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or with diverse populations.
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
  • Proven track record of developing individual and family treatment plans.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:

  • A potential sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate your scheduling preferences and client needs.
  • No overhead costs or administrative burdens typically associated with private practice.
  • Accessible training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career.
  • A HIPAA-compliant platform to safeguard patient information while providing high-quality care.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Rocky Meadow Counseling, we are committed to fostering professional development and career advancement. We actively support our therapistsโ€™ continuing education efforts and provide opportunities to take on leadership roles or special projects that align with your professional interests.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Rocky Meadow Counseling means becoming part of a compassionate and dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional mental health care.
