• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture the unique experiences and circumstances of each patient, facilitating informed and personalized treatment planning.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address the specific needs of individual patients, drawing from their cultural backgrounds and personal histories.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, promoting resilience and well-being while addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care approach that ensures holistic treatment for each patient.
• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills in high-pressure situations.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources, thereby empowering them in their journeys toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate, lawful, and confidential documentation of patient interactions, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
• Actively engage in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our practice.
• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations within mental health therapy to enhance your professional skills and service delivery.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals from underrepresented communities, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ populations, and immigrants. You will make a profound difference in these patients' lives through culturally-responsive therapy, positioning yourself as a trusted advocate for their mental health and wellness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and the importance of cultural competence within therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive techniques that cater to diverse populations.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities that facilitate rapport-building with patients from varying backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• A strong commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality.
• The capacity to work collaboratively and effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with diverse populations.
• Prior exposure to community health clinics and familiarity with culturally competent care practices.
• Proven involvement in multidisciplinary team settings and interprofessional collaboration.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
