Job description

It Starts With Our Employees

FourLeaf's ultimate goal is to provide the best-in-class member and employee experience, and it all begins with two things: hiring incredible people and giving them a great place to work.

What You’ll Do

The Deposit Operations Quality Control & Oversight Program Manager serves as a senior subject matter expert and control owner for deposit operations reconciliations, exception governance, and quality assurance. This role leads end-to-end oversight of high-risk reconciliation and proof processes, ensuring timely GL integrity, accurate transaction posting, and audit-ready documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements and internal control standards. The position provides escalation leadership, influences cross-functional stakeholders, and drives root-cause remediation and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the control environment and reduce operational risk

This opportunity is open to flexible work options including a remote set up.

Core Contributions

  • Lead and govern daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for deposit-related general ledger (GL) and internal accounts, establishing certification standards, timelines, and documentation requirements to ensure completeness and control compliance.
  • Direct investigation and resolution of out-of-balance conditions, variances, and aged/unreconciled items; perform root-cause analysis, quantify impact, and drive sustainable corrective actions across stakeholders within established SLAs.
  • Oversee exception governance for items such as ACH returns, check adjustments, and posting discrepancies prioritizing high-risk exposures, coordinating cross-team resolution, and ensuring timely clearing, accurate disposition, and documented approvals.
  • Own quality control reviews and control testing for deposit operations processes; define test plans, document results, report control performance trends, and drive remediation through to verified closure.
  • Establish and oversee reconciliation and exception performance metrics and dashboards; deliver actionable risk insights to management, identify systemic trends, and recommend enhancements to controls and operating procedures.
  • Prepare, review, and certify reconciliation packages and audit-ready support in accordance with record retention standards; ensure clear narratives for reconciling items, approvals, and evidence of control execution.
  • Lead escalation and incident management for unresolved discrepancies, control breaks, or potential losses; complete impact assessments, coordinate containment and recovery actions, and provide concise, timely communications to leadership.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal/external audits and exams by providing reconciliation, reports, walkthroughs, and evidence of control design and operating effectiveness; coordinate responses through issue closure.
  • Partner with Accounting, Payments, Branch Operations, Digital Banking, and Technology to lead problem solving for complex breaks and defects; drive alignment on ownership, timelines, and long-term fixes.
  • Own and enhance reconciliation procedures, QC standards, and job aids; provide training and guidance to ensure consistent execution and adherence to policy and regulatory expectations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., standardization, automation, tooling optimization) to increase efficiency, reduce exception volume, and strengthen end-to-end control effectiveness.

Assets You Will Bring

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree required. Field of study in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in banking operations, deposit operations, or account reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, general ledger balancing, and exception handling.
  • Familiarity with transaction processing, inclearing & returns, and adjustments preferred.
  • Experience with core banking systems and reconciliation tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.

The estimated salary for this role is $74,721.00 to $89,666.00 annually. (FourLeaf Federal Credit Union offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and disability insurance; voluntary benefit programs; a 401(k) plan with employer match; reimbursement and wellness programs; and an annual performance-based bonus.)
