Remote Cannabis Engineer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

• Lead Facility and Process Utility System Performance
• Provide technical ownership and long-term stewardship of critical process utility infrastructure, including systems such as compressed air, process water, vacuum, wastewater, and supporting facility utilities.
• Drive reliability, capacity, and lifecycle performance
• Eliminate recurring failures through root cause analysis
• Develop long-range asset and obsolescence strategies
• Ensure systems are engineered to support business growth
• Develop and influence the 5–10-year roadmap for process utility systems and site infrastructure
• Prioritize investments based on risk, reliability, and business value
• Identify technologies and improvements that enhance operational efficiency
• Balance technical and financial considerations in major decisions
• Manage execution across design, procurement, construction, and startup
• Deliver projects that increase capacity, reduce risk, and improve operational performance
• Build a Reliability-Driven Culture
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to move from reactive maintenance to engineered reliability
• Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
• Use data and performance metrics to drive decisions
• Improve uptime, asset life, and total cost of ownership
• Shape Future Infrastructure Strategy

• Improved process utility reliability and system availability
• Reduction in recurring failures and unplanned downtime
• Successful delivery of capital projects meeting cost, schedule, and ROI objectives

• Stronger engineering and reliability practices across the organization

• Requires one of the following: 

• • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of professional design or construction management experience

  • Associate’s degree and twelve (12) years of professional design or construction management experience 

• Experience leading capital projects and infrastructure upgrades
• Strong knowledge of process utility systems and reliability engineering
• Proven ability to translate technical challenges into measurable business outcomes
• Confident ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership through concise, business-focused recommendations and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Experience with managing building/property protection and loss prevention through third party insurers, preferred 

• Preferred Location: Mason, MI
  • Remote role (U.S. based) - This position is available as a remote role in one of our approved locations*
• Travel: Up to 50% (domestic & international)
  
  • Regular on-site engagement at our production locations
