Job description

East Coast Cannabis is growing! Our Cultivation facility in Lebanon, Maine is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Cannabis Cultivation Associates. This is an entry-level, hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment. No prior cannabis experience is required, we provide comprehensive training.

What You'll Be Doing

At our Lebanon facility, we cultivate high-quality cannabis through every stage of the grow cycle. As a Cultivation Associate, you'll support:

The full plant lifecycle, cloning, transplanting, feeding, pruning, and shaping plants in vegetative and flowering stages

  • Moving plants between rooms as they progress through the grow cycle
  • Assisting with harvesting and plant breakdown
  • Trimming, sorting, classification, and packaging (post-harvest processing)
  • Resetting grow rooms (removing grow medium, cleaning tables and fans, reinstalling trellises, sweeping and mopping floors)
  • Maintaining strict cleanliness and sanitation standards for tools, equipment, and workspaces
  • Following detailed production timelines from clone to harvest
  • Reporting observations or concerns to management promptly
  • Following all SOPs, safety requirements, and compliance regulations

Help maintain quality and production standards, including:

  • Manicuring flower for retail sale with strong attention to quality control
  • Maintaining steady weekly production goals
  • Properly trimming (manicuring) a minimum of 55 grams of flower per hour

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role. Team members should be comfortable with:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Bending, climbing ladders, and performing repetitive tasks
  • Wearing required PPE (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
  • Working in environments that may be hot, cold, wet, or humid

$17 USD per hour

Required Skills

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse
  • Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail
  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to stand, sit and kneel for up to 8 hours a day with the ability to lift heavy object
  • Strong attention to details and excellent time-management skills
  • Willingness to take direction
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Experience working in a regulated cannabis cultivation facility
