Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking three experienced Business Analysts with strong domain expertise in Life Insurance. The selected candidates will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and operations to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support implementation of insurance systems and regulatory initiatives. The role requires deep understanding of life insurance products and policy lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories).
  • Analyze life insurance products including Term Life, Whole Life, ULIP, Annuity, and Riders.
  • Work across policy administration systems covering underwriting, policy issuance, claims, and servicing workflows.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact analysis for enhancements and regulatory changes.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare test cases, and coordinate defect resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (IRDAI or relevant governing authorities).
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Participate in workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution validation sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Insurance domain.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end policy lifecycle (proposal to claim settlement).
  • Experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and process modeling.
  • Knowledge of insurance core systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent BA certifications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives or core system migration projects.
