Senior IT Functional Analyst - SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) is responsible, for Canadian and U.S. operations, for the design, optimization, and coordination with technical consultants of all systems and processes related to the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle. This scope includes customer master data management, order entry and processing, pricing and commercial agreements (CCM), deliveries, billing, and integrations with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service functions.


This role is responsible for effectively translating business needs from Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations teams into functional and technical requirements that can be understood by development and support teams. The incumbent ensures that business processes support organizational objectives while leveraging SAP capabilities and associated technologies to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.


The Senior IT Functional Analyst defines the technology roadmap in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. They lead discussions related to solution architecture, process evolution, and technology decisions, while ensuring the stability and support of both strategic and legacy applications in collaboration with internal support teams and external partners.

Where you will drive value:


  • Act as the functional expert and owner of SAP SD solutions covering the entire Order-to-Cash process
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams for all initiatives related to order management, pricing, billing, and deliveries
  • Gather, analyze, and document business needs and functional requirements
  • Design and optimize customer order management processes, from order creation to billing
  • Ensure governance and evolution of pricing processes, including price lists, discounts, promotions, trade agreements, and rebate programs
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure the integrity of billing, revenue, and accounts receivable processes
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to optimize order execution and customer experience
  • Provide expert-level support for incidents and complex Order-to-Cash issues
  • Coordinate testing and deployment activities
  • Lead or contribute to strategic projects, continuous improvement efforts, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with external partners and support teams to ensure performance, availability, and evolution of solutions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate governance standards
  • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and continuous business process improvement

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst, preferably in an SAP environment
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SD processes and the full Order-to-Cash cycle
  • Expertise in pricing, trade condition management, and billing
  • Good understanding of integrations with SAP FI, MM, TM, and other peripheral systems
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into effective functional solutions
