• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for each client, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
• Participate in the creation of crisis intervention plans, behavioral assessments, and medication treatment plans, as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards to maintain high-quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and collaborate with clinical teams to implement effective positive behavior support plans.
• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, community partners, and state agencies to promote a cohesive treatment approach.
• Actively engage in ongoing professional development, such as attending workshops, conferences, and regulatory meetings to stay current in your field of expertise.
• Promote and integrate the mission, vision, and values of the organization within your practice.
• Complete administrative tasks, such as participating in clinical meetings and ongoing program evaluations.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, each with unique backgrounds and mental health challenges. This includes individuals facing substance use issues, those with developmental disabilities, as well as individuals affected by brain injuries. The clinic’s commitment to person-driven care allows counselors to build trust and rapport, facilitating more effective treatment outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is required.
• A valid and independent LMHC license is necessary to practice in California. If you are currently licensed in another state, Brightside will cover the costs associated with obtaining your California license.

• Experience in behavioral health settings or prior roles involving substance use recovery is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury populations will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is preferred.

Brightside Mental Health Clinic offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually.
