We're looking for a Legal Contracts Manager to join our team, focusing on seller-side Tech/Software agreements!
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business, product and sales executives to drive strategic deals and initiatives with some of our largest customers. You will negotiate complex legal agreements and work with cross-functional teams of lawyers, finance, accounting specialists, product managers and sales teams to solve legal and business challenges.

What You'll Do:
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial licensing, SaaS, data privacy, confidentiality, and professional services agreements, representing the seller-side
  • Identify, advise on, and help resolve legal and business issues in a practical manner while still protecting BMC's interests.
  • Act as the first point of contact in Legal for the Sales organization, collaborating with multiple teams across various regions and time zones.
  • Respond promptly to requests for help from internal clients.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of BMC's form agreements
  • Support the organization through quarter and year end processes

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a Contract Manager role (this is an Associate / Mid-level role)
  • Experience from a software / tech company, representing the seller-side in drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements & supporting the sales organization
  • Solid understanding of the software sales cycle and commitment to support the organization through tight quarter and year end deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams and global regions/time zones
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining independent, flexible, and responsive to stakeholders
