What you'll do
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients alongside Risk Advisors and Executive Client Managers.
  • Lead new business and renewal processes from strategy through placement.
  • Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Review underwriting data, including loss ratios, experience modification ratings, and audit disputes.
  • Prepare submissions, negotiate coverage terms, pricing, and commissions with insurance carriers.
  • Develop marketing strategies for new and renewal business.
  • Conduct contract and lease reviews to identify insurance and risk compliance issues.
  • Review Certificates of Insurance and advise clients on contractual compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy while minimizing Errors and Omissions exposure.
What you'll need
  • Current California Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Five or more years of commercial lines client management experience.
  • Commercial insurance industry designations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, underwriting, renewals, and carrier negotiations.
