• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate symptoms related to mood disorders, identifying the severity and impact on clients’ daily lives.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, preferences, and specific circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing their conditions effectively.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, incorporating self-care strategies and coping mechanisms into therapy sessions.
• Monitor and document client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as needed to enhance outcomes.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including discussing medication and its effects.
• Remain informed on the latest research pertaining to mood disorders, incorporating new findings into your treatment practices.
• Advocate for clients by promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders through community involvement.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders. This includes patients facing challenges such as chronic depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and other related issues. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on clients' lives by providing tailored therapeutic support and education, improving their overall mental health and resilience.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Washington.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities including CBT and DBT with a demonstrable track record of effective treatment.
• Strong collaborative skills with a sound understanding of psychopharmacological treatments, enabling effective teamwork with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to relate to diverse populations and establish rapport with clients.

• A minimum of three years of experience working with mood disorders, demonstrating a strong ability to deliver therapeutic outcomes.
• Previous experience in a community health or outpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and compliance is advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting both experience and qualifications.
