Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) delivers high-quality, patient-centered mental health care through secure telehealth platforms. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and providing ongoing medication management and treatment in a fully remote or hybrid outpatient setting.
This position is part of a well-established, physician-owned practice with over 20 years of clinical excellence, supported by a professional Management Services Organization (MSO). Core Focus of the Role
- Provide virtual psychiatric assessments and follow-up care
- Diagnose and treat common outpatient mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder)
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation (EHR)
- Collaborate remotely with therapists, primary care providers, and care teams
- Ensure compliance with telehealth laws, licensing requirements, and clinical protocols
