Job description

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time psychologist at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor on the non-tenure Clinician-Educator track. We seek candidates with the experience and desire to treat patients with bipolar disorders within a newly formed and growing multidisciplinary center focused on comprehensive treatment of bipolar illness. The candidate will join a rich, collaborative environment with other clinicians and scientists in the Feinberg School of Medicine and throughout the University.
Qualified candidates will have obtained a PhD or PsyD from a clinical psychology program that is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System and completed an APA-approved internship. Preferred candidates have interest and expertise in the evidence-based assessment and treatment of patients with bipolar disorders and a desire to work within a multidisciplinary team setting focused on patient and family centered care, quality improvement, and measurable outcomes. Qualified applicants will also have well developed competencies that facilitate their work with various communities and patients with intersectional identities. Qualified candidates will also be licensed or license eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois.Candidates must be able/willing to provide care in-person and via telehealth.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
The expected base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
