About the Role
We're hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in Salinas, CA. This is a W2, in-person role providing psychiatric care to patients aged 11 and up. The role includes a hybrid model: providing in-person care from our Salinas office, with the option to see some patients via telehealth.
As a MOOD provider, you'll treat a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. This position is ideal for a clinician seeking meaningful, flexible, and supported psychiatric practice in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications, with careful attention to safety, efficacy, and patient education
- Maintain timely and complete clinical documentation in accordance with state and practice standards
- Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration
- Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications
- Active California PMHNP license and California furnishing number
- Active or pending California DEA license
- 2+ years of experience treating adolescents (ages 11-17) and adults
- Experience diagnosing and treating: ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder
- Comfort with hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual
- Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms
- Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Setting
- Job Type: Part-time, Full-time
- Setting: In-person (Salinas, CA) + Telehealth
- Schedule: Monday to Friday availability preferred; some weekend availability a plus
