Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will encompass a range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations that provide critical insights into clients' mental health conditions, paving the way for personalized treatment plans.
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities to provide individual therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
• Collaborating with clients to set therapeutic goals and monitor their progress, ensuring a supportive and responsive therapeutic alliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a safe, trusting, and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
• A genuine sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude that allows clients to feel understood and valued.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are essential, preference will be given to candidates with clinical experience in a community health setting or private practice, particularly those experienced in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
