Solace Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will engage with clients experiencing mood disorders—such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety—and facilitate their journey toward healing and recovery. This role allows you to work entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while still meeting the needs of your clients. The live telehealth setting means you will interact with clients via secure video conferencing tools, making it feel personal and immediate while adhering to privacy standards. You will be collaborating closely with a team of dedicated mental health professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and support.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide treatment.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each client.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions.
• Act as an advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and supporting their holistic needs.

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to, those facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This role also involves supporting vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. You will play a critical role in empowering these clients, guiding them through their challenges, and facilitating their access to necessary resources.

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a safe and trustworthy therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and maintain a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills essential for balancing client care and administrative responsibilities.

• Experience working with mood disorders in a therapeutic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Previous hands-on experience in client advocacy or community service directed at aiding mental health demographics.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
