This remote position enables you to maintain a work-life balance while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will conduct virtual sessions with clients during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which accommodates healthy professional and personal management.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and nature of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a tailored approach for each client.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). For instance, using CBT to help clients identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety.
• Provide education to clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to foster understanding and participation in the treatment process.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated patient care.
• Stay informed on the latest trends and research in mood disorder therapeutics, contributing to ongoing professional development and best practice implementation.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enrich clinical skills and contribute to team knowledge.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping to reduce stigma associated with mental health conditions and promoting mental wellness in the community.

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders, specifically those facing challenges related to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. These clients often require empathetic communication and tailored strategies to cope with their conditions effectively. By providing personalized care, you will play a crucial role in improving clients' mental health and enhancing their quality of life.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Thorough understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work closely with psychiatric professionals.
• Strong record of effective outcomes in treating mood disorders, showcasing your therapeutic skills and approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience in a remote therapeutic setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver care effectively.
• Previous work with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally competent practices in mental health.
• Proven ability to engage clients in a therapeutic process and empower them in their recovery journeys.
