This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to provide services from the comfort of your own home. While primarily remote, participation in team meetings and collaborative treatment planning may occasionally require presence at our outpatient office in Ellicott City. Our work hours are scheduled Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient availability and needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs, followed by the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals and groups.
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and mutual support among clients dealing with similar mental health concerns.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.
• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients in distress.
• Educate patients thoroughly about their mental health conditions and treatment options, empowering them with knowledge and resources for improved well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and receiving guidance on complex client cases while pursuing ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health practices and therapies, integrating new knowledge into treatment methods.

The clients we serve come from diverse backgrounds with varying mental health needs, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in Maryland.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and devise effective treatment plans tailored to diverse client needs.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, showcasing competency in fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating positive connections with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong ethical framework with sound judgment in professional settings, while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, with a focus on therapy for adult populations.
• Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or educational sessions on mental health topics.
• Familiarity with innovative therapeutic techniques and modalities that enhance patient engagement and treatment effectiveness.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
