Job description

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what's next.
For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.
We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you're building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you'll help define what comes next.
About the Role:
We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing Operations team within the broader Revenue Operations organization. This is a hands-on, technical generalist role for someone who loves owning the operational machinery behind a fast-moving GTM team-and who's excited to run it faster using modern AI-assisted tooling like v0, Claude Code, and the Vercel platform itself.
You'll own and evolve the systems, data, and workflows that power our marketing motions: administering and integrating our martech stack, keeping our data clean and trustworthy, and building the campaigns and lifecycle automations that drive pipeline. This isn't a pure admin seat and it isn't an engineering seat-it's for an operator who's comfortable getting under the hood, automating the manual stuff, and prototyping their own solutions instead of waiting on a backlog.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and can be located remote (US-based in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone) or hybrid out of our San Francisco HQ or Austin office.
What You Will Do:
  • Administer our core martech stack-including our marketing automation platform (Customer.io) and its integration with Salesforce, Snowflake, and downstream systems -keeping tools tightly connected and data flowing reliably
  • Build, QA, and launch marketing campaigns and email programs in partnership with Growth Marketing, ensuring clean execution and measurable results
  • Design and maintain lifecycle, nurture, and automation flows that move leads through the funnel and support segmentation and personalization
  • Own data hygiene and governance across marketing systems-deduplication, normalization, enrichment, and the standards that keep our data trustworthy
  • Use AI-native dev tools (v0, Claude Code, Vercel) to build internal helpers, automate repetitive workflows, and prototype solutions to ops problems quickly
  • Partner with RevOps and GTM Analytics to ensure reliable lead flow and reporting, proactively flagging gaps, bottlenecks, or tech debt before they become problems

About You:
  • 5+ years of Marketing Operations experience in SaaS or high-growth startups
  • A hands-on operator who not only administers the martech stack but actively improves and automates it
  • Deep familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Customer.io, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Comfortable working with integration and data-routing tools (e.g. Tray.io, RudderStack, Segment)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-native development tools like v0, Cursor, or similar-and genuinely excited to use them to move fast on early ideas (this is core to how this team works)
  • Comfortable reading and lightly editing code, and writing basic SQL to pull and validate data
  • Strong instincts for data quality and detail, with a bias toward fixing root causes over patching symptoms
  • Thrives in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment, and likes owning problems end to end

Bonus If You:
  • Have hands-on experience with TypeScript, more advanced SQL, or data modeling for GTM systems
  • Have built or scaled systems in support of PLG motions or developer-focused products
  • Have built internal tools or ops automations that went beyond stitching existing platforms together
  • Have experience building on Vercel or similar modern web platforms

Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
