What is a remote biomedical engineering volunteer?

Remote biomedical engineering volunteers are professionals or students who use their expertise in biomedical engineering to support organizations, projects, or communities from a distance, typically via the internet. They may help design medical devices, analyze data, provide technical support, or assist with research, without needing to be physically present onsite. This role allows for flexibility and often involves collaborating with global teams to address healthcare challenges, particularly in underserved areas.
