As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Honor Your Emotions, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to understand clients' needs and challenges.
• Developing tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices aimed at achieving effective psychotherapy outcomes.
• Documenting therapeutic notes and client progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitating individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Staying in communication with other health professionals and agencies to provide well-rounded care.
• Becoming actively involved in ongoing consultations and case discussions to improve approaches and integrate feedback.
• Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to refine your skills and stay current on best practices in mental health.

You will work with a diverse range of clients from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals, children, couples, and families. Your role is pivotal in addressing a wide array of mental health issues and disorders, enhancing therapeutic outcomes through personalized care and respect for each client's unique experience and needs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related fields.
• Current licensure as an LMFT or LCSW in California, with good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (CA BBS).
• Registration with the CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) is required.
• Experience in working within community health settings is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
