• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead dynamic and interactive group sessions that promote open dialogue and allow clients to share and learn from each other’s experiences.
• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored therapeutic interventions, helping clients explore their thoughts and emotions while developing actionable coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and aspirations, ensuring they set achievable goals.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess clients’ progress using validated assessment tools, enabling you to adjust treatment plans based on real-time feedback and outcomes.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other health care providers and professionals to deliver holistic care, focusing on the best interests of each client and ensuring proper coordination of care.

Your primary focus in this role will be on young adults between the ages of 18 and 30, many of whom face unique challenges related to mental health, including anxiety, depression, and transitional issues. By employing a range of therapeutic techniques, you will support clients in developing resilience and coping mechanisms while guiding them toward personal breakthroughs and sustainable recovery.

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current LPCC licensure in New York State.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health services to diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for fostering meaningful connections.

• Experience working with young adults and understanding their unique mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
