Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services. The specific responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients coping with substance abuse and mental health challenges.
• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments as well as ongoing evaluations to track client progress and adapt treatment strategies.
• Collaboratively developing and documenting individualized treatment plans to ensure effective and personalized care.
• Engaging actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights, contribute to treatment planning, and provide holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate, timely records of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment updates in accordance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role revolves around clients facing substance use disorders and various co-occurring mental health issues. You will work closely with diverse populations requiring sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals from various backgrounds. Your efforts can significantly improve clients' lives as they navigate tough personal journeys and seek recovery.

Qualifications

To qualify for this rewarding position, candidates must meet the following educational and licensure requirements:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Hold a current and valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Psychologist (PsyD).
• Maintain an active professional license that is not under suspension or probation.

Preferred Experience

While meeting the core qualifications is essential, additional experience is highly valued. Ideal candidates will have:

• At least two years of clinical experience working with clients facing substance use and mental health challenges.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment addressing complex client needs.

Compensation and Benefits
