Job description

Fabulous Freelance Coaches are part of a wider network of coaches and facilitators who offer their coaching services - as part-time freelancers - to members of the Fabulous app.

What Fabulous members have in common is their striving to improve their daily routines and habits. Each has their own unique story and growth areas, requiring our Coaches to cover a wide range of coaching topics. Whatever habit a member has chosen to work on, that is the focus of their session.

Sessions are scheduled on the basis of a coaching subscription, offering the coach (and the Fabulous member) the stability and depth of an ongoing coaching relationship.

All Fabulous coaches are expected to study Fabulous curriculum. (for example: you should know the real meaning of Emotion Regulation, and be able to name specific strategies... or understanding how dopamine really works, rather than what is commonly shared. Once this is determined, the Coaching Lead will certify you to work under a unified Fabulous Coaching Code, covering proficiency in the Fabulous app content, Fabulous work tools, best practices in coaching and professional excellence, ethical guidelines and ongoing learning opportunities within the network of Fabulous Coaches, for example webinars on different topics of value to Fabulous members.

Whether a Fabulous Coach specializes in relationships, leadership, trauma, nutrition , ADHD, ACT, or any other topic, they are welcome to join the team, provided that they meet a) the Qualifications for this post, b) can fulfill Responsibilities listed here, c) complete the Fab Coach Training Curriculum, and hold to Fabulous values throughout their work.

Requirements

Responsibilities
  • native or advanced fluency in english
  • must be able to hold 10 (30 minutes) sessions per week
  • knowledge of habit formation psychology
  • create stability for a long-lasting coaching relationship with regular Fabulous members
  • log of each memberโ€™s progress and insights after each session
  • notate recommendations that might serve the member in their future sessions
  • participate in offering guidance in text form via our in-app community space: Circles
  • complete Fabulous Training Curriculum
  • keep an open line of communication with the Coaching Lead to stay updated on the ever-growing and expanding Fabulous coaching service
  • adhere to (and are invited to contribute to improving) ethical, business and coaching guidelines that will allow our Fabulous members to benefit from a service that will genuinely improve the quality of their lives, creating a ripple effect of value and wholesomeness in the lives that they touch
  • showing up for people without prejudice no matter who they are nor what their views are with an intent to help them within the scope of Fabulous app material (forming habits, focus, etc.)
Qualifications
  • hold a certification of a coaching and/or facilitation course of a minimum 100 hours
  • have already completed at least 100 hours of coaching practice with clients outside of their training
  • testimonials from clients &/or a recommendation from a mentor
  • knowledge of behavioral science principles, and how to support someone in reconceptualizing habits as tiny steps, repeated regularly, over time
  • knowledge of the science behind compassion (eg Kristin Neffโ€™s work) and be able to explain why that would help a member integrate change into their life.
