As an LCSW at Gateway Behavioral Health Services, your primary responsibilities include:

• Providing individual and couple therapy across various age groups, adapting to different therapy styles as needed.
• Utilizing an efficient billing service that manages client claims, insurance accounts, and eligibility checks, allowing you to focus more on therapy and less on administrative tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, including session notes and treatment plans.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments with clients and managing an organized calendar to ensure consistent accessibility and care.
• Applying your clinical expertise to address a wide range of mental health issues, collaborating with colleagues when appropriate to enhance treatment effectiveness.

The client population at Gateway is diverse, encompassing individuals and couples facing various behavioral health challenges. You will have the chance to work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their therapeutic journeys and achieve their personal goals, fostering an environment of hope and recovery.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work, with a valid LCSW license to practice independently.
• Exceptional professionalism, with a strong ability to establish and maintain therapeutic boundaries and cultural competency.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills, self-motivated, and a proactive approach to professional development.
• Preparedness to work full-time, with availability for a minimum of 20-25 hours weekly and at least two evenings each week.

While not mandatory, candidates who have significant training or experience in couples therapy will be highly regarded. This experience is particularly valuable, given our diverse client base seeking assistance with relationship-focused therapy.
