• Conduct therapeutic sessions: Engage with clients through individual, couples, and family therapy to explore their thoughts and feelings, using tailored therapeutic techniques to address their unique challenges.
• Assessment & treatment planning: Undertake comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs, developing and updating treatment plans in collaboration with clients to facilitate their progress.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous progress notes and treatment documentation in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaboration: Cooperate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic support and referrals when necessary.
• Crisis Intervention: Address acute crises by offering immediate support and developing crisis intervention strategies tailored to individual client needs.
• Community outreach: Participate in local events and initiatives to improve community mental health awareness and build supportive partnerships with local organizations.

As an LCMFT at Key Well Counseling, you will work with a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will address various behavioral health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and adjustment disorders, all from a client-centered perspective. Your role will be essential in helping clients navigate the complexities of their emotional and relational lives.

• Current Maryland LCMFT licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maryland).
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varied mental health issues.
• Strong skills in delivering individual, couples, and family therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.

• Experience working with children and adolescents or a background in trauma-informed care.
• Knowledge of mindfulness, holistic therapies, and alternative evidence-based practices.
• Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies relevant to behavioral health.

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
