• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health conditions, individual strengths, and unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, tailored to each patient's circumstances.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care effectively.
• Educate patients and families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing medication management to foster understanding and cooperation.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on developing skills for coping and emotional regulation.
• Create and maintain up-to-date treatment plans in collaboration with your treatment team, ensuring they reflect patient input and preferences.
• Guide patients through the complexities of the mental health system, serving as an advocate for their rights and needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational workshops that empower participants with knowledge and support.

The clients served by Better Living Behavioral Health Services encompass a broad spectrum of backgrounds and age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many of our patients may be facing acute mental health crises, long-term challenges, or significant life transitions. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals recognize their potential for healing and growth, fostering resilience in diverse populations.

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Previous clinical experience in a behavioral health setting is advantageous.
