Job description

Title: SAP BDC Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build data solutions: You'll create plans and build systems that move large amounts of data from SAP and other systems into a centralized location.
  • Work with SAP DataSphere: You'll use your skills to set up and manage SAP DataSphere, ensuring everything from security to performance is optimized.
  • Connect different systems: You will connect various data sources, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP systems, so the data can be used across different platforms.
  • Optimize data flow: You'll build and improve the processes that get data from one place to another, using tools like Replication flows and Data Flows.
  • Solve complex problems: You'll use your expertise to fix issues and make sure our data integration solutions are reliable, scalable, and secure.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of total experience in SAP data integration.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP DataSphere.
  • Proven experience with data integration tools like SLT and Cloud Connectors.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and ECC.
  • Experience extracting data from SAP systems into AWS, Databricks, SAP HANA, and SAP BW.
  • Familiarity with various data connections like Oracle, JDBC, and OData.
  • Experience with Python for data transformations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An SAP BDC or SAP DataSphere certification would be great.
