Key Responsibilities

• Engage clients in meaningful therapeutic sessions focused on developing and achieving their unique treatment goals.
• Conduct thorough assessments and implement tailored treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
• Offer prevention-oriented therapy techniques to clients, working collaboratively to foster resilience and coping strategies.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with external treatment providers, placement agencies, and community resources to optimize client care.
• Participate in regular staff meetings to share insights, discuss case management strategies, and enhance team cohesiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs and backgrounds of your clients, you will play an essential role in their journey towards mental wellness and recovery.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
• Proficiency in utilizing community mental health resources to support clients effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
• Strong leadership attributes, with the ability to guide clients toward their health goals while supporting colleagues through a team-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, adolescent therapy, or group therapy can be beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems would enhance your ability to maintain accurate and efficient documentation.
