Senior Next.js Developer (GraphQL, Node, React, PHP, eCommerce)

Rough Country is a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, specializing in high-quality suspension kits, lift kits, and off-road accessories. We are looking for a highly skilled Next.js Developer to join our growing team and help drive our eCommerce technology forward.
Who You Are:
You are a Next.js expert with deep experience in GraphQL, Node.js, React, and PHP. You have a passion for building high-performance web applications and an understanding of eCommerce best practices. While Magento 2 experience is a huge plus, your primary strength should be Next.js development.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Next.js 13.2+ - Absolute expert in SSR, ISR, App Router, and best practices
GraphQL - Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs
CSS/SCSS - Strong styling skills, with a focus on maintainability and performance
Node.js 16/18 - Backend proficiency, API development experience
React.js - Expert-level understanding of hooks, state management, and optimization
PHP - Intermediate to expert experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):
eCommerce development - Experience working with modern eCommerce platforms
Magento 2 & Headless Magento 2 - Knowledge of Magento APIs, PWA Studio, or GraphQL integrations
Performance Optimization - Experience optimizing high-traffic eCommerce applications

  • Development of a high-performance Next.js-based eCommerce platform
