Local advertising agency is seeking a talented Web Developer to play a key role in shaping the online presence of our clients. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional and energetic team player who is able to multitask effectively, offer quick and accurate responses and provide creative input to help advance client's brands.


Our agency provides comprehensive website design, development and on-going site management for clients throughout East Tennessee and beyond. We serve a wide variety of industries including e-commerce, medical, automotive and more!


Main Responsibilities include the following: others may be assigned

  • Front-end Development: Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually stunning and user-friendly websites that align with the creative vision of our clients.\Back End Setup and Integration: Deploy a WordPress instance and install advanced plugins to manage 3rd party integrations. 
  • Security Focused: Follow industry best practices for security when deploying websites and systems. 2-factor authentication, password requirements, and threat remediation.
  • Code Optimization: Select and implement solutions that are clean, efficient, and scalable. Conduct regular reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Responsive Design: Implement designs from the creative team to create websites that are responsive across various devices and browsers to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring websites are always running smoothly.
  • Ongoing Education: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your skill set and bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Modern AI Systems: Experience working with modern AI systems and applying AI-enabled tools to improve development workflows and client solutions is a plus.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Proficiency in WordPress development. Proficiency in server side website hosting and management. E-commerce experience with WooCommerce and Shopify is a plus
  • Creative Mindset: Ability to translate creative concepts into functional and visually appealing websites.
  • Collaborative Nature: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
