Azure Solution Architect

Role: Azure Solution Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Type: W2

Job Description:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant IT field of study from an accredited college or university.

  • Three years of experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and integration with Azure Active Directory B2C.
  • Eight years of experience in application design, development and support
  • Five years of experience with C# and.NET MVC5, WebAPI, JQuery and object-oriented design.
  • One (1) year of which should include mentoring and/or leadership in a technical field.
  • Six additional months of relevant full-time work experience may substitute for 15 semester hours of required education, up to four years.
  • Masterโ€™s degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of the required experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques used in systems architecture, design and analysis.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures; to write and revise standards and procedures; to handle multiple projects; to communicate effectively; and to plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and make decisions using sound judgement, analytical thinking and sound reasoning.
  • Ability to apply creative solutions when problem solving while keeping management informed of risks and critical issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with coworkers, and to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or above with major college course work in computer science, information technology or related field.
  • Experience building end-to-end data pipeline using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Cosmos DB, and integration with Azure Active Directory B2C.
  • Ten years of experience in application design, development and support
  • Eight years of experience with C# and.NET MVC5, WebAPI, JQuery and object-oriented design.
  • Experience in an agile SDLC environment.
  • Experience in managing complex information systems.
