This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while you manage your caseload effectively. You will engage with a variety of professionals in a multidisciplinary team setting, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure holistic care for clients. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the unique mental health needs of clients, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans that cater to those needs.
• Utilize a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide psychotherapy services for individuals, families, and groups, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions when clients are in acute distress, applying your training to stabilize their condition and provide immediate support.
• Participate actively in team meetings to collaborate with other mental health professionals, ensuring that every client receives coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma, fostering a greater understanding of mental health issues.

In your role at Azalea Counseling Services, you will be working primarily with clients in a detox center setting. This unique environment allows you to engage with individuals who are navigating challenges related to substance use and mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to build rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their recovery journey.

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated cultural competence, allowing effective work with clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation.

• Experience providing therapy in a detox or substance use treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities specific to substance use and mental health disorders.
• Track record in crisis intervention and management within the mental health field.
• A demonstrated commitment to professional development through ongoing education and training.
