Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing professionals to work from the comfort of their homes while still being part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to formulate effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing tailored to clients’ specific situations.
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, supporting clients in navigating acute emotional distress and ensuring their safety and well-being through evidence-based de-escalation strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and peer support specialists, to develop coordinated care plans and ensure holistic treatment for all clients.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma, actively engaging in educational initiatives that empower individuals and families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support a diverse clientele within a detox center, serving individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your experience and training will empower you to effectively address the unique mental health challenges faced by those seeking recovery from substance use disorders and related issues.

Qualifications
  • An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, showcasing your educational foundation in mental health.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and fostering therapeutic relationships that facilitate healing.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence, with the ability to connect effectively with clients from a broad range of backgrounds.

Preferred Experience
