Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs accurately. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address these needs comprehensively.
  • Deliver effective therapy services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, or mindfulness practices.
  • Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring that our clients receive holistic and integrated support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, drawing upon your clinical expertise and compassion to de-escalate situations effectively.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at fostering mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting available resources and services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Azalea Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Qualifications
  • A valid and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
  • A completed Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is essential.

  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence to work effectively with a wide array of client backgrounds.
