You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and fellow therapists, ensuring a holistic, client-centered approach to treatment. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a diverse array of methods tailored to the unique needs of each client, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring that all aspects of a client's treatment plan are synchronized for optimal care and outcomes.
• Deliver crisis intervention services with compassion and immediate support for clients in acute distress or emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engage in community outreach to enhance awareness of mental health issues and promote Azalea Counseling Services as a trusted resource within the community.

Our therapists work with a broad spectrum of client demographics, addressing the needs of individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Working in a detox center, you will have the unique opportunity to provide therapeutic support to clients at pivotal moments in their recovery journey, ultimately contributing to their overall health and well-being.

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build therapeutic relationships with clients effectively.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity when working with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to maintain accurate documentation and follow through on care plans.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly within a detox or substance abuse treatment environment.
• Familiarity with client management systems and telehealth platforms that enhance service delivery in a remote capacity.
• Proven track record of achieving positive client outcomes through the application of evidence-based practices.
