Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven National Fleet Manager to lead and grow our fleet business. This role will focus on developing strategic partnerships with fleet owners, dealers, contractors, OEMs, and aftermarket manufacturers while driving long-term sales growth and key account development. The Fleet Manager will collaborate closely with internal sales teams and lead the expansion of operations across the Central and East Coast regions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic B2B sales initiatives targeting fleet owners, dealers, contractors, and key accounts 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand fleet partnerships and increase revenue 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within fleet and B2B organizations 
  • Drive revenue growth through new account acquisition, customer retention, and expansion of existing OEM partnerships
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support business growth initiatives

OEM & Vendor Relationship Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key OEMs and aftermarket manufacturers 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic OEM partnerships and account programs 
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to support product initiatives, pricing strategies, and business growth opportunities 
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity within the fleet and aftermarket markets 

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with the DSI sales team to support existing OEM relationships and strategic account growth 
  • Coordinate sales efforts across regions to ensure consistent customer service and account management 
  • Build, lead, and develop a fleet accounts team supporting Central and East Coast operations 
  • Establish performance goals, provide coaching, and support employee development within the fleet accounts team

Account Management & Operations

  • Oversee high-volume fleet and B2B accounts and ensure strong customer satisfaction and retention 
  • Develop account strategies focused on long-term partnerships and recurring business opportunities 
  • Track sales performance, account activity, and market trends to support forecasting and reporting 
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to support customer account needs 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Automotive Management, or related field preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet management, commercial sales, automotive aftermarket, or OEM account management 
  • Proven experience developing B2B sales strategies and managing large B2B accounts 
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations, automotive aftermarket products, and commercial sales processes 
  • Experience managing OEM or manufacturer relationships preferred 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build and manage teams 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills 
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customers, vendors, and regional operations 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket or off-road industry
