We are seeking a Controller to join our growing Financial Operations practice.
As a Controller Consultant at Bridgepoint, you will serve as a strategic business partner to support our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with clients by providing critical senior financial management and accounting services while delivering the highest level of professionalism and client service
  • Partner with a variety of individuals to achieve client success, including but not limited to CFOs, CEOs, executive teams, bankers, private equity firms, legal advisors, tax advisors, and investors
  • Help companies execute growth strategies, take on new initiatives, and implement processes and improvements
Skills You'll Need:

Required:

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 3 (most recent) years as a Controller
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Willingness to travel throughout your local market, while occasionally supporting national markets
  • Strong desire for consulting-style work and delivering excellent customer service
  • Experience leading and managing operations of an accounting department
  • Solid track record of developing and optimizing the accounting and finance functions to support growth and scalability
  • Interpersonal skills to develop effective interdepartmental relationships; IT, HR, Operations department oversight is a plus
  • Proficient understanding of budgeting and forecasting with complex, dynamic financial models
  • Experience maintaining and/or implementing effective internal controls
Preferred:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
  • Prior employment by a Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms
  • Industry experience in emerging growth, technology, and SaaS companies

Base salary starts at $140K (plus quarterly bonuses) and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific location, role skill set and level of experience. The compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretional annual or quarterly bonus.
