St. Paul Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Trauma-Informed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote outpatient team. In this full-time role, you will leverage your expertise to provide vital therapeutic services to individuals experiencing trauma and related mental health challenges. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote setting, allowing professionals to maintain a work-life balance while delivering critical mental health support. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify trauma histories and the most effective treatment modalities for patients.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and targeted therapeutic objectives.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and structured environment for processing trauma and developing coping strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services is preferred.
