• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mood disorder symptoms, including intensity, frequency, and duration.
• Tailor individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs, alongside their personal goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to empower their healing journey.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to optimize therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
• Advocate for clients by addressing stigma related to mental health and ensuring their needs are met throughout their treatment process.

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will deliver evidence-based treatments to a diverse clientele that may include individuals facing additional challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, or histories of domestic violence.

• Must possess an active and current state license: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusting and secure relationships with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nonjudgmental attitude combined with empathy and compassion are crucial in supporting clients through their struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to balance therapeutic responsibilities and administrative tasks.

• Previous experience working with a diverse range of clients, particularly those facing mood disorders and addiction issues.
• A familiarity with various therapeutic frameworks and the ability to integrate them into practice.
• Experience in remote therapy practices is advantageous as we utilize teletherapy tools.

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and prior experience.
